Crankshaft grinding with the highest level of accuracy

At Carl Baguhn we polish and grind crankshafts for 4-stroke diesel engines from approx. 50 kW engine power (including the following makes: MAN, Wärtsilä, Vasa, Sulzer, Himsen, SWD, MWM, MaK, SKL, Crepelle, Volvo) and for compressors (including the following makes: Neumann & Esser, Maschinenbau Halberstadt, GHH, Mannesmann, Atlas Copco, Linde, Halberg, Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, Sabroe, Zwickau, Wurzner). We are also familiar with special cases such as crankshafts for canning presses or steam engines. We machine the crankshafts of V-engines, in-line engines, compressors, compressors made of steel, cast iron or laser-welded on modern precision grinding benches of various sizes.

As a company that grinds crankshafts for shipping and industry, it is advantageous to have a company location in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Hamburg and the strategic Port of Barranquilla. As a result, we are able to serve our customers in the shortest period imaginable. In addition to crankshafts for shipping and industry, we also grind new (compressor) crankshafts to specified journal diameters in series. Furthermore, we not only carry out grinding work on crankshafts, but also, for example, on refrigerant compressor screws.
