QUICK REPAIR OF BEARING AISLE DAMAGE
Bearing center lines are found wherever a rotary motion is converted: i. e. in combustion engines and compressors and steel presses. There are many causes for misalignment of bearing raceways. For example, bearing center lines can be affected by overheating, overspeed or the impact of force. Too small or too large bearing play or incorrect alignment of the engine / equipment can also lead to shaft damage, as a result of which the bearing line must be rebored to be aligned.
For this purpose, Carl Baguhn has developed a transportable boring system for boring bearing lines, the "B 204 tool".

The tools for line boring can be packed and dispatched by Carl Baguhn within a few hours, and the boring of the bearing center lines can be carried out quickly, precisely and cleanly at your site. Time-consuming removal and installation of e.g. crankcases or large components is not necessary.
LINE BORING - FAST INSTALLATION, HIGH-PRECISION BORING.
Our "B 204 tool" from Carl Baguhn is installed and optically aligned at your site with engine-specific adapters. Thanks to an adjustable electric motor with feed gear, the cutting speed can be optimally adapted to diameters from 100mm to 1,000mm and achieves absolute horizontal precision on lengths between 1 and 18 meters. This enables Carl Baguhn to guarantee the dimensional accuracy required by the engine manufacturer.
